HERCULE II
Grants to promote activities in the field of the protection of the financial interests of the European Union. European funding granted to reinforce Community action to prevent fraud affecting the EU's financial interests and combat such fraud by promoting actions in this field.

This programme promotes activities countering fraud and any other illegal activities affecting the EU's financial interests, including cigarette smuggling and counterfeiting. Compared with the previous programme, operating grants are suppressed in Hercule II.
