EUROPEAN RETURN FUND
Grants intended for return management projects of illegal residents in Europe. European funding granted to promote the implementation of integrated return management by Member States, enhancement of cooperation between Member States and promote the uniformisation of application of common standards on return.

The creation of this fund is the follow-up of the former RETURN preparatory action 2005-2006. This fund, which is operational from 1st January 2008, is part of the "Solidarity and management of migration flows" framework programme. The fund complements the three other funds, in the field of external borders, asylum and integration (See EUROFUNDING sheets).
