EUROPE FOR CITIZENS - Action 1.1 - Town Twinning
Grants to support town-twinning actions stimulating active European citizenship, to take benefit from links established at local level between twin cities to encourage exchanges and cooperation. This program funds actions to strengthen cooperation between citizens of Europe.

This action, together with "Citizens’ projects and Support measures", constitutes the 1st strand of "EUROPE FOR CITIZENS" programme, called "Active citizens for Europe" (see EUROFUNDING sheets).
This measure is aimed at activities that involve or promote direct exchanges between European citizens through their participation in town-twining activities.
